SHE was the perfect choice to back a charity drive which aims to raise a pretty penny by getting people to make small donations.

Model Penny Lancaster, left, is promoting a scheme where people can donate 1p – or more – every time they use their contactless payment cards.
All they have to do is register a debit, credit or Oyster Tube pass, and a donation will be made every time it is used at participating businesses.
Money raised will help young people escape poverty. Big-name firms, including Northern & Shell, the parent company of the Daily Express, Goldman Sachs, Barclaycard and VISA, are backing the scheme.
If 100,000 people sign up to Penny for London, they could raise £1million, said London Mayor Boris Johnson. To set up an account see pennyforlondon.com.
