'Can I live?' President Barack Obama breaks out his selfie stick for hilarious new video
HE may be one of the most powerful men in the world - but even US President Barack Obama is not afraid of poking fun at himself.
President Obama has appeared in a hilarious new video
The President has appeared in a hilarious new video, in which he is seen goofing around in the White House, giving a supposed glimpse of his life behind closed doors.
The footage - titled 'So what does Obama do when no one's around?' - shows the President checking himself out in the mirror, trying on a pair of sunglasses and even preparing for a speech.
It also revealed that Mr Obama is a natural with a selfie stick - as he cheerfully uses the modern photo-snapping tool to capture the perfect angle.
The video later showed the President doodling pictures of his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama, and muttering the sarcastic catchphrase 'Thanks Obama' when his biscuit would not fit in his glass of milk.
At one point in the video, the President was even seen mispronouncing the word 'February' - in a sly reminder to the US to sign up for healthcare coverage by this weekend.
Mr Obama decided to create the hilarious footage with website Buzzfeed to help him promote Healthcare.gov - a health insurance exchange website operated under the US federal government.
But it was not all work for the President, with sources revealing that he was a "good sport" during the project and had "come to play".
The President also showed off his selfie stick
The video accumulated an incredible 15 million views during its first eight hours online.
However, this is not the first time the President has made his presence known on social media.
Last year he appeared on the Between Two Ferns web series, presented by American actor and Hangover star Zach Galifianakis.
