Abba back at the top
Abba are back topping the UK charts with an album first released 16 years ago.
A new generation of fans wants to hear their hits, thanks to the film Mamma Mia! – the Abba-inspired musical on now in cinemas.
Gold – Greatest Hits made history yesterday by becoming the oldest record to reach No1.
This is the fifth time the UK’s fourth-biggest album in history, has made the top spot.
Between 1972 and 1982 Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, Frida Lyngstad and Agnetha Faltskog sold out tours and had a string of hits.
