Former home of comeback queen Kate Bush could be yours - for £3MILLION
MUSIC fans have been sent in a frenzy after the former home of singing sensation Kate Bush went on sale - for a staggering £3MILLION.
The 56-year-old performer, who made a sensational comeback earlier this year, lived in the stunning, six-bedroom mansion in Eltham, south-east London between 1985 and 2003.
During her time at the huge house - which is aptly named Wuthering Heights after her 1978 hit single - she released her best-known album Hounds of Love.
It is also believed that she filmed a music video in one the property's massive bedrooms.
The house, which covers an acre of ground and is surrounded by large trees for privacy, was bought by Jackie O'Reilly and her husband in 2003.
We have had a number of potential buyers interested in the property
They have since made major changes to the property, including landscaping the garden, installing a summer house and creating a fish pond.
They also installed a huge, iron Wuthering Heights sign at the entrance.
After ten years at the property, the couple are selling the house with planning permission for a three-bedroom extension.
Estate agent James Ankers, from Kinleigh, Folkard and Hayward in Lee, south-east London, said: "We have had a number of potential buyers interested in the property.
"We have not had tons and tons of people inquiring because it is at the higher end of the market, but several people have shown interest."
