Trot along to Aldi for bargain equestrian wear
RIDERS can be kitted out for less than £50 with a new equestrian range from the Aldi supermarket chain.
Essentials such as yard boots, polo shirts, gilets, jodhpurs and socks can be picked up for a total of £49.95, less than half the recommended retail price of five pieces of similar gear on the high street, which would add up to a total of £107.95.
Aldi is selling women’s yard boots and jodhpurs for £12.99 apiece while a child’s polo shirt and jodhpurs would cost a total of £12.98.
Zoe Molesworth, editor of Equestrian Life magazine, said: “Riding, whether for competition or leisure, is at an all-time high in the UK. It’s fantastic Aldi has launched a range that offers not only great value, but is of comparable quality to brands on the market.”
The new range is on sale from today.
