Katie Hopkins in new Twitter rant at lazy full-time mums who 'don't work'
KATIE HOPKINS has launched a fresh salvo against Britain's army of mums - and this time it's full-time mothers in the firing line.
The 38-year-old has previously blasted fat mums, mums on the school run and mums who educate their children at home.
But today she took things a step further by claiming that ALL mothers who stay home to look after their children are shunning work.
The former Apprentice star - who admitted she was bored on a train at the time - told her 114,000 Twitter followers: "Full time mummy is not an occupation.
"It is merely a biological status."
Full time mummy is not an occupation. It is merely a biological status.
She then provoked further fury on the social networking site by Tweeting about the Government's controversial welfare changes.
She added: "1 in 3 dropped weekly sickness benefit claims in London ahead of assessment. How lame is that? 40 yrs old and still hiding from teacher."
One furious follower immediately replied: "My mum would have died without it, maybe some mentally ill people were too frightened."
Last month Hopkins was hounded with death threats ahead of a club appearance, forcing it to be cancelled.
She sparked outrage by joking about life expectancy in Scotland just hours after the tragedy that killed nine on Friday.
The Devon-born star also sparked outrage before Christmas by branding X Factor winner Sam Bailey "a fat mum in a jumpsuit."
One X Factor fan told her: "Everything you write about people is so nasty and unnecessary."
She was then dropped from ITV's This Morning after 75,000 signed a petition to keep her off the telly.
