Vinnie Jones: England has had its day as there are too many immigrants
HARDMAN actor Vinnie Jones has branded England “past its sell-by date” and says it has opened its doors to too many immigrants.
The Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels star, 48, lives in Los Angeles and insisted he could never be tempted back from the US. He told the Radio Times: “There’s nothing to come back to here.”
He added: “It’s not the country I grew up in. It’s a European country now. If someone blindfolded you and put you on a plane in LA, and you landed at Heathrow and they took it off, you wouldn’t have a clue where you were.”
Asked whether he might make a Ukip poster boy, the British actor replied: “I’m not familiar with them. I just think we should get our own house in order before we open our doors. It’s mind-boggling to me.”
The former Wimbledon and Wales footballer, known for his pitch aggression, revealed a passion for nature documentaries.
“If you want to know what makes me emotional, it’s nature stuff. I haven’t got Tarantino’s films on my iPad, I’ve got Attenborough.”
