Luxury car thieves caught by posing
A brazen gang who stole a fleet of high-performance cars were jailed for a total of more than 30 years yesterday.
The eight men targeted BMWs, Range Rovers, Porsches and a £100,000 Mercedes as well as jewellery and laptops in 15 separate burglaries in west London.
Burglaries in Kensington have dropped by half since the gang were taken off the streets, Isleworth Crown Court heard.
They were caught after posting pictures of themselves with the cars and piles of banknotes on Facebook.
Seven, including ringleader Kalan Williamson, 20, pleaded guilty to the burglaries earlier this year. Rory Mason, 18, was found guilty last month.
Williamson, of Chelsea, was jailed for four years and eight months. The others were sentenced to between three years detention and four years eight months jail.
