New rush of Margaret Thatcher books
THE death of Margaret Thatcher has sparked new biographies and old works to be reprinted.
The Iron Lady’s official autobiography will be published as a single volume for the first time.
The book, Margaret Thatcher – The Autobiography, will be a newly edited version of her memoirs The Downing Street Years and The Path To Power. It will be released tomorrow.
Margaret Thatcher: The Authorised Biography, Volume One: Not for Turning by Charles Moore is out next week. It was commissioned in 1997 but could not be published during her lifetime.
Not For Turning: The Life of Margaret Thatcher by Robin Harris, her speechwriter, will come out on April 25.
