Donations flooding in to pro-Union campaign
THE campaign to save the Union has amassed a £2million war chest.
The Better Together organisation published details on the cash it has received since launching last June.
The SNP’s campaign was given a huge boost with £1million gifts from lottery winners Chris and Colin Weir, and from the late poet Edwin Morgan’s estate. But the pro-Union campaign is whittling down that advantage, with a total of £2.2million either in the kitty or securely pledged.
