Tributes paid to rail death victim while three are quizzed
THE girlfriend of a man killed when he was hit by a train during a fracas at a railway station, paid tribute to him yesterday.
Jaime-Leigh Egerton posted photos on Facebook of her sharing tender moments with Ryan Harrison, 22, who died at Guildford Station in Surrey on Saturday.
Yesterday two 19-year-old men from Guildford and a man from Cranleigh, Surrey, were all held on suspicion of murder. They were released on bail.
The online tributes included a photo of the pair kissing in a nightclub and another of them embracing at a holiday beach bar.
I’ll miss you so much, truly lost a brother. Nothing will be the same now
The 20-year-old sales assistant’s photos were among messages left by family and others on the site. Friend Adam Wicks wrote: “I’ll miss you so much, truly lost a brother. Nothing will be the same now.”
Ryan’s father Tony Harrison lives in Spain and is due to fly back to Britain. His son, from Woking, Surrey, was out with a friend when a fracas began involving other men.
He fell on to the track and was crushed by a train.
