Our 180,000 lights for a dazzler of a Christmas
AFTER a month's work and with 180,000 lights, electrician Alex Goodhind has lit up his neighbourhood.
It's his Christmas gift to the local hospice that cared for his mother.
Alex, 28, helped by fellow electrician Graham Fryer, right, has put on Christmas displays since 2006, raising more than £8,000.
This year, after a two-year absence, Alex's light show at Melksham, Wiltshire, is bigger and brighter than ever.
He said: "I've been collecting lights and decorations for more than 15 years, so it's just sort of grown."
His father Colin, 62, said: "People wanted to see it back."
