Sir Bruce Forsyth blazes the trail
SPRIGHTLY Sir Bruce Forsyth put on a show-stopping performance yesterday as he carried the Olympic Torch.
The veteran Strictly Come Dancing host struck his trademark pose then shuffled and tapped danced his way through the streets of west London calling out: “Nice to see you, to see you, nice.”
Brucie, 84, took up the torch on the site of the White City Stadium which hosted the first London Olympics in 1908.
Others to carry the flame yesterday included Absolutely Fabulous actresses Joanna Lumley, 66, and Jennifer Saunders, 54.
And the flame went to Downing Street where David Cameron and wife Samantha came out to see it carried by pensioner
Florence Rowe, 81, from Prestwood, Bucks.
