One user asks if tonight's EuroMillions draw will be postponed if people are unable to buy a ticket.

Allwyn acknowledged that some users were having problems, however there has been no indication of disruption to the draw.

With the Thunderball, you could win £500,000

If you match five numbers you can win £5,000.

Matching four numbers plus the Thunderball, will get you £250.

Four numbers will get you £100.

A spokesperson said: “Some players may have experienced short-term intermittent issues with the National Lottery website and apps earlier this evening.

"Our teams worked hard to resolve them and things are now looking good ahead of tonight’s £114m EuroMillions jackpot draw, which will also make 10 UK millionaires. Players have until 7.30pm to get their tickets online and in store.”

The odds of winning the EuroMillions jackpot are around 1 in 139 million (1 in 139,838,160 to be exact). However, the chances of winning any prize are much better at around 1 in 13.

If you are not experiencing issues, and you would like to enter tonight's draws, you have 30 minutes left.

If you don't have your tickets yet, you may struggle to enter tonight's draw, as this is the message many users are seeing when trying to use the National Lottery app/website.

In reply to user complaints on X, a spokesperson for the National Lottery said: "Some players may be experiencing intermittent issues with the National Lottery website and apps this evening.

"Our teams are working hard to resolve this, and we would recommend that players try again, as both do remain up and running. We're really sorry for the inconvenience, and thank players for their patience."

The lottery app is reportedly down, as National Lottery website users also report issues.

Thousands of players appear to have been hit by problems with the National Lottery app and website this evening, with Downdetector logging a sharp rise in complaints.

Many players are saying they have been unable to log in, buy tickets or complete transactions

Players who want to join the EuroMillions draw have to choose five main numbers from 1 to 50 and two Lucky Star numbers from 1 to 12.

You can also play a Lucky Dip, which will choose the numbers at random for you.

It is then for you to decide how many lines to play, with each line costing £2.50. Multiple lines can be added to increase your chances of winning.

Here is how to join the Thunderball draw.

Select five main numbers from 1 to 39 and one Thunderball number from 1 to 14.

You can also use a Lucky Dip so that the numbers are picked at random for you.

The EuroMillions draw will take place around after 8pm, and after the Thunderball draw.

You have under an hour to buy tickets and enter tonight's draw.

After the previous draw, a £114m jackpot is now up for grabs.
