An Allwyn spokesperson said: "Some players may have experienced short-term intermittent issues with the National Lottery website and apps earlier this evening. Our teams worked hard to resolve them and things are now looking good ahead of tonight’s £114m EuroMillions jackpot draw, which will also make 10 UK millionaires. Players have until 7.30pm to get their tickets online and in store."

National Lottery outage reports appear to be easing, with the number of complaints falling sharply from the evening peak.
Downdetector showed reports had dropped to fewer than 100 by around 7.40pm.
Issues reproted are now down to six.

National Lottery outage reports remain high as ticket sales close
Downdetector reports suggest National Lottery problems remain ongoing even after ticket entries closed for this evening's draws.
The number of complaints has fallen from its peak of more than 2,000 reports shortly before 6pm, but hundreds of users are still reporting issues.
At around 7pm, Downdetector was still showing more than 650 reports, suggesting some players may continue to face problems accessing the app and website.

One user asks if tonight's EuroMillions draw will be postponed if people are unable to buy a ticket.
Allwyn acknowledged that some users were having problems, however there has been no indication of disruption to the draw.

National Lottery outage map shows worst-hit areas
The areas with the highest concentration of National Lottery outage reports in the last 24 hours appear to include:
-London
-Birmingham
-Manchester and the North West
-Leeds
-Liverpool
-Glasgow
-Edinburgh
-Newcastle area
-Belfast
-Parts of eastern England including Norwich and surrounding areas

Is the National Lottery app still down?
The latest Downdetector figures suggest the National Lottery app is still experiencing problems this evening.
Reports surged sharply just before 6pm, peaking at more than 2,000 complaints before beginning to fall slightly.
Most users reporting issues said the problems were linked to the app, which accounted for 62 per cent of complaints. A further 26 per cent related to login problems, while nine per cent involved the website itself.
Although the number of reports appears to be dropping, hundreds of users are still reporting issues accessing the National Lottery's services.

User says app blocked access after £10 deposits
One frustrated user said they had received emails confirming two separate £5 deposits into their account, but were still unable to access the app to check their balance or buy tickets.
You've now sent me emails saying I've deposited 2 lots of \u00a35 into my account, but the app won't open so I can't even confirm that or buy tickets!! What is going on?!

Downdetector data show reports of National Lottery problems began rising during the afternoon before surging sharply at around 6pm, with complaints climbing into the thousands by the evening.
Most users reporting issues said the problems were linked to the app, which accounted for 63 per cent of complaints.
A further 24 per cent related to login problems, while 9 per cent involved the website itself.
