Prince William works on Christmas Day
PRINCE WILLIAM put duty before family gatherings this Christmas and was on call with his search and rescue helicopter squadron.
The Sea King pilot, 28, and fiancée Kate Middleton were apart for their first Christmas since their engagement.
He had lunch in his flight suit with colleagues at an RAF canteen on their base on Anglesey. It’s traditional for unmarried servicemen to work at Christmas. Kate, 27, was with her family in Berkshire while newly-engaged Zara Phillips, 29, and her beau Mike Tindall, 32, were also absent from Sandringham.
