Major high street shop with 240 stores plunges into administration - closures across UK
The major high street brand is closing stores across the country.
GAME is closing all standalone stores across the UK as the high street giant plunges into administration.
The store filed its intention notice to go into administration last week, making this the second time the company has appointed administrators since 2012.
The GAME Business, Frasers Group, the owner of GAME, has said the three remaining standalone stores will close down as a result.
They are in Dudley, Lancaster, and Sutton.
The GAME website will continue to operate as usual, as well as concession stores in Sports Direct and House Of Fraser, of which there are over 200.

GAME’s managing director, Nick Arran, will also leave the company after nine years.
On the latest closures, he said the company has a "need to be realistic."
He continued: "Gaming is our core business and we will be the last man standing selling physical video games."
CeX is now the UK's biggest high street gaming retailer with 390 stores.
