Les Dawson’s widow to sell ‘shrine’ home ‘shrine’
THE widow of comedy legend Les Dawson is selling the home she maintained as a shrine to his memory since he died 17 years ago.
The decision to put The Bumbles, a £1.3million mansion in Lytham, Lancs, on the market emerged days after it was revealed that Tracy Dawson, 60, was being investigated over alleged benefit fraud.

But friends insisted the sale was not linked to the probe and that she would not gain financially because of trust terms in the comic’s will.
Mrs Dawson, currently sharing the property with long-term partner John Chadwick, 62, has vehemently denied suggestions of wrongdoing.
“I am not a benefits cheat,” she said. “I have not been claiming anything.”
