The frightening attack left the victim needing injuries which required hospital treatment.
Police have issued an image of a man they want to speak to in relation to a shocking attack in which a passenger on a London bus was stabbed - purely for asking somebody to take their feet of the seats.
The victim, aged in his 50s, was on a Route 64 bus in Croydon when a man boarded and sprawled across the chairs.
A Metropolitan police spokesman said he “confronted the suspect and during a brief struggle was stabbed a number of times in the leg”.
They added: “The suspect left the bus at East Croydon train station.”
The injured man then attended hospital for treatment for his knife injuries, at which point police were called.
Anybody who can name the man in the picture should report online, dial 101 or post on X @MetCC quoting 923/4JUN24.
