Firefighters rush to West London school fire
London Fire Brigade has rushed to a school fire in Fulham, which has seen its atrium alight. A boy, 16, has been arrested on suspicion of arson, according to the Metropolitan Police
In a statement, the brigade said it was called to the scene of The London Oratory School at around 10.15am, with crews from Fulham, Chelsea, Kensington, Wansdworth, Hammersmith, Clapham, Lambeth and Soho fire stations are in attendance.
The brigade added that the cause of the fire was so far unknown.
The school is described on its website as "amongst the City's most prestigious Roman Catholic schools".
Local MP, Greg Hands, said he was "concerned about this situation" and is "in touch with police".

Met says boy, 16, arrested on suspicion of arson
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire at a school in west London on Wednesday, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Where is the school?
London Oratory School is not far from Chelsea's Stamford Bridge stadium. It has almost 1,400 pupils and is rated outstanding by Ofsted.
Former prime minister Sir Tony Blair and ex-Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg sent their sons to the school, according to MailOnline.
Cause of the fire is unknown, Met Police says
The Metropolitan Police has said the cause of the fire is currently unknown and will be investigated.
A spokesperson for the force said a nearby shopping centre and some residential addresses were evacuated as a precaution.
Road closures have been in place, with the Met urging people to avoid the area.
Neighbours urged to keep windows closed
London Ambulance Service told people living locally to keep their windows closed.
The service also urged people to keep away from the area in a message on social media.
In a post on X just after 1pm, LAS said: "Thankfully there were no patients and our ambulance crews have now been stood down from the fire at a school in Fulham."

Met Police investigating cause along with London Fire Brigade
A total of 10 fire engines and about 70 firefighters were called to the fire at the school in Seagrave Road, Fulham.
According to the London Fire Brigade, part of an atrium has been damaged by the blaze in a four storey building with basement. No injuries are reported.
The Brigade was called at 10.11am and with the flames under control by 11.47am.
Fire crews from Fulham, Chelsea, Kensington, Wandsworth, Hammersmith, Clapham, Lambeth and Soho fire stations attended the fire.
Its cause is under investigation by the London Fire Brigade and Metropolitan police.
