The STV building in Glasgow has been evacuated
Bomb squads are reported to be racing to the scene after a 'suspicious vehicle' was discovered by cops outside the STV building in Glasgow.
The TV station HQ has been evacuated and police have sealed off the area as they investigate an "ongoing incident" that has left Govan Road sealed off and cars turned away from Clyde Arc road bridge.
Residents have also be cleared from nearby homes.
An STV spokesperson said: “Due to a police incident in the area, STV’s offices at Pacific Quay have been evacuated this evening.
“The channel remains on air with regular programming, but this evening’s edition of Scotland Tonight won’t be transmitted.”
