Furious holidaymakers pay £90 for fancy lounge at UK airport but it's 'worse than Spoons'
An airport lounge has been slammed by visitors for "disgusting toilets" and "apathetic staff".
A lounge in Heathrow Airport had been slammed by visitors who paid £90 for “disgusting toilets” and “apathetic staff”.
No1 Lounge promises to be a “sanctuary” away from the busy crowds of the airport but many holidaymakers said they felt let down once they arrived.
Multiple visitors urged others to not “waste their money” on the No1 Lounge, with many remarking on toilet cleanliness and the standards of food.
The airport bar and buffet has over 700 hundred reviews on Tripadvisor, 177 of which are categorising it as “terrible”.
One reviewer said that Heathrow would be better to “get a Wetherspoon”. They said the Lounge was “complete and utter rammel” at £70 for two people for a “crap seat, sausage cob and a shocking cuppa”.

One visitor paid as much as £90, they said.
Writing on Tripadvisor, they fumed: "Thought we’d treat ourselves to a lounge before holiday. £90ish for 3 hours, expected something semi decent.
"Think aged Wetherspoons, but limited drink selection and awful food. What a waste. Would rather than saved money the money and had a lunch at pret and browsed shops before flight. Don’t waste your money!"
Another holidaymaker said despite its potential, No1 “misses every single purpose of a lounge by some margin” with extremely slow service despite their being more waiters than patrons.
Despite the 177 “terrible” reviews, opinion on the lounge is split with 167 “excellent” ones.
