Burnley blast: House collapses after explosion as two people taken to hospital
TWO people have been taken to hospital after a house collapsed following an explosion.
An aerial ladder platform was used to remove stones from the gable end
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the property in Burnley yesterday. A man was airlifted to Royal Preston Hospital suffering major trauma while a woman was taken by ambulance to the Royal Blackburn Hospital for assessment.
Neighbours had managed to rescue one of the victims.
