Leeds stabbings: Two young men rushed to hospital with knife wounds
TWO men have been rushed to hospital with knife wounds following a double stabbing on a crime-hit estate.
Emergency services rushed to Halton Moor, Leeds, at around 3.50am where the men, aged 24 and 26, were found struggling with their injuries. The estate has been sealed off since as police investigate the attack.
The 24-year-old victim was found to have serious injuries and is undergoing surgery.
The older victim's injuries are thought not be as serious, reports Leeds Live.
Forensic examination and specialist searches have been conducted in Halton Moor, a deprived area to the east of the city with relatively high crime rates.
Two men, aged 34 and 21, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Detective Inspector Dan Bates, of West Yorkshire Police, said: “We are carrying out extensive enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or who has any information that could assist the investigation."
