Corby stabbing: Three arrested after boy, 16, dies
THREE people have been arrested by police in connection with the fatal stabbing of a teenager in Corby.

On Tuesday evening, officers were called at around 7pm to reports of a stabbing, according to Northamptonshire Police. The Police said that despite the best efforts of paramedics, the 16-year-old boy died at the scene.
A murder investigation was launched after the incident happened on Constable Road in Corby.
On Tuesday evening, the police said the three people arrested remain in custody.
Det Chief Insp Steve Watkins said: "This is a fast-moving investigation and anyone with any information is still asked to contact us."
In a statement, Northamptonshire Police added: “Enquiries are progressing at pace and detectives investigating the incident are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to get in touch with them by calling 101 and quoting incident number 399 of 25/05/21.”

According to the Northamptonshire Telegraph, cordons remained in place on Tuesday night across the Hazel Leys estate with Constable Road and Hogarth Walk shut to traffic.
Residents in the area are being allowed to access their homes.
People in the area told the Northamptonshire Telegraph that they saw a huge police presence on the estate from around 7pm.

A 19-year-old local man told the publication: “There were police and ambulances all over the place. It’s so shocking.
“You don’t expect this to happen in Corby.
“It’s been years and years since a teenager was last killed here.”
A police helicopter was also seen in the area along with dozens of officers.
