Scotland emergency: Boy, 15, found on street in critical condition – Station locked down
POLICE sealed off a train station near Glasgow after a 15-year-old boy was found in a critical condition nearby.
Emergency crews were called to Boydstone Road, in East Renfrewshire, near Glasgow, at 11.10pm last night. Police officers found the teenager with serious injuries and he was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by an ambulance.
"Officers attended and found a 15-year-old male seriously injured.
"He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
"Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident."
ScotRail said earlier on Twitter: "Due to the police dealing with an incident between Glasgow Central and East Kilbride.
"Our services between Glasgow Central and East Kilbride will be running non-stop between Pollokshaws West and Giffnock.

"Thornliebank will not be served."
Glasgow Live reported emergency services arrived on the scene at around 1am this morning.
A police helicopter was also said to be seen around that time.
Pictures from social media show a police cordon in place at the scene as investigations were carried out.

After emergency services left the scene, ScotRail alerted rail users that the station was open again at around 9am.
It said: "UPDATE: The emergency services have now cleared the station.
"We are able to run services again.
"Thank you for your patience this morning.
"Disruption caused by the police dealing with an incident between Glasgow Central and East Kilbride has now ended. Services are no longer affected by this problem."
