Baby found in rubbish
POLICE last night issued an urgent appeal after the body of a newborn baby was found at a waste recycling plant.
A worker sifting through rubbish at the centre in Addlethorpe, Lincs, found the body in a black bin liner wrapped in the packaging from a Tesco toilet roll.
The body had been dumped in a wheelie bin, then emptied into a dust cart. Police want the mother to come forward. A spokesman said: “She is not in trouble and may be in need of medical treatment and psychological care.”
