London stabbing: Police officer injured on duty - suspect arrested at scene
A LONDON police officer has been stabbed while on duty in Maida Vale.

Mohim Hussain, 40, of Ashmore Road in Maida Vale, west London, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a knife in a public place in connection with the incident, in which the officer suffered a "serious" injury. Hussain is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court later on Thursday.
Ken Marsh, chairman of the Metropolitan Police Federation, said the officer was stabbed during a stop-and-search.
Despite being injured, the police officer was able to detain a suspect at the scene.
Mr Marsh said: "Despite bleeding profusely, the officer gave chase with two colleagues and actually helped detain the suspect.
"He is OK now, thankfully.
"He's obviously walking wounded but he'll be fine."
The Metropolitan Police Federation said the officer suffered a "serious injury" while responding to an incident in Maida Vale on Tuesday evening.
He has since been discharged from hospital.
The Police Federation said: "Sad to report a serious injury to a colleague (on Tuesday night).
"Stabbed in west London.
"We wish him well and he is being fully supported.
"Thankfully injuries are not as bad as they could have been.
"Yet again shows the dangers Metropolitan Police officers face each and every every day."
