Boris Johnson baby: Carrie Symonds and PM name baby Wilfred
Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds have revealed the name of their son, days after Ms Symonds gave birth and the Prime Minister returned to Number 10. The name of the Prime Minister's son honours the doctors who attended him while he struggled with COVID-19 in intensive care.
What did Boris Johnson name his son?
The Prime Minister and his partner have decided to name their first child Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson.
In a Tweet, Ms Symonds revealed their son's name incorporates her grandfather and two doctors.
She said: "Introducing Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson born on 29.04.20 at 9am.
"Wilfred after Boris' grandfather, Lawrie after my grandfather, Nicholas after Dr Nick Price and Dr nick Hart - the two doctors that saved Boris' life last month."

Ms Symonds also included a tribute to the people who looked after her as she gave birth earlier this week, thanking the staff of London's University College Hospital.
She said: "Thank you so, so much to the incredible NHS maternity team at UCLH that looked after us so well.
"I couldn’t be happier. My heart is full.”
A spokeswoman for the couple announced the birth with a statement on Wednesday, saying Ms Symonds and her son were "doing well".
The full statement read: "The Prime Minister and Ms Symonds are thrilled to announce the birth of a healthy baby boy at a London hospital earlier this morning.
"Both mother and baby are doing very well.
"The PM and Ms Symonds would like to thank the fantastic NHS maternity team."
The Prime Minister's son was born just as he returned to Westminster with Carrie Symonds in tow, as he picks up the reigns of Government once again to head the coronavirus crisis.

While the crisis is still far from averted, the Prime Minister is expected to take paternity leave during June this year.
Downing Street said he would take the break "later in the year, rather than now”, and traditional paternity lasts one to two weeks.
Officially, it must end within 56 days of the birth, meaning the Prime Minister should complete his break by June 23.
When he returns, the UK will likely have started on its path away from nationwide lockdown.
Current estimates suggest the lockdown may not ease until June.
The Prime Minister's official spokesperson hinted at the late easing during a Westminster briefing last week.
When asked about whether the lockdown might last until June, they said the disease would be around for "a significant period of time" as would COVID-19 measures.
He said: "What you’ve obviously heard from (England’s chief medical officer) Chris Whitty is that this is a disease that is going to be around for a significant amount of time – he’s said we have to be realistic, we’re going to have to do a lot of things for a long period of time."
