'Fed up' voters savage Labour and 'glorified uni student' Corbyn over Brexit and election
BRITISH voters voiced their frustration at the Labour Party’s Brexit stance and attacked Jeremy Corbyn for his “uni student” immaturity on Brexit and politics.

In the 2016 Brexit referendum Mansfield voted overwhelmingly to leave the EU at an estimated 70.9 percent. BBC Radio 4's Today Programme’s Ross Hawkins spoke to Britons in the area and their views in the upcoming general election, Brexit and the Labour Party’s chances. Mansfield residents expressed their frustration and how “fed up” they were with the Labour Party and the delay to Brexit.
One resident said: “After three and a half years, 4 years?
“Let us just get out and get out and get on with it.”
Another frustrated Briton added: “Why should these MPs dictate to us all the time.
“I am just fed up if I am honest.”

A frustrated Mansfield resident said: “I was born in a mining village, I have always been Labour supporter.
“I am sorry, Jeremy Corbyn is like a glorified university student who never grew up.”
The Today Programme reporter then noted that the Labour Party was attempting to shift focus away from Brexit on to poverty.
Sonya Ward is the Labour MP candidate for Mansfield and she attempted to argue that the public care about more than just Brexit.

She said: “People are not stopping me all the time to talk about Brexit.
“They are not waking up thinking 'oh Brexit, what is happening today'.
“They are waking up thinking, 'what is happening with the park at the end of the street?'

“They are asking 'what is happening with my life, job and my kid's education?'”
Mr Hawkins closed by saying: “This election is about all those things.
“But the political crisis that sparked it though make plenty of players here think Brexit is the topic that will dictate how this ends.”
