British Airways EMERGENCY: Las Vegas to Heathrow jet in mid-air alert over Atlantic Ocean
BRITISH Airways flight BA274 from Las Vegas has declared a midair emergency over the Atlantic Ocean.

The flight from the United States was due to land at Heathrow Airport at 3.30pm. However, pilots declared an emergency as the jet was flying over the north-west coast of Ireland. Twitter user Flightlevel250 said: "British Airways #BA274 declaring a general #emergency inbound to #Heathrow."
The aircraft is a Boeing 747-436.
G-BOARD added: “BA274 from Las Vegas to Heathrow has declared an emergency over north Wales, will probably still continue into Heathrow.
"Mainly notable because it’s G-CIVB, the 747 in the retro Negus livery.”
Airport Webcams tweeted an image of the BA plane landing at Heathrow at 3.10pm.
The Twitter user said the pilot had requested immediate landing because of a medical emergency.
