Celtic fans ‘shot with rubber bullets’ as violence ERUPTS in Valencia before Europa clash
SPANISH police have been accused of firing rubber bullets at Celtic fans and attacking them with riot batons.

Footage shared on social media shows violent clashes erupt on the street of Valencia ahead of tonight’s Europa League clash. Fans claimed rubber bullets were fired towards them. One short video clip shows a group of Celtic fans chased down a street by officers who wade into the crowd with their batons.

A second clip shows a large group of supporters drinking outside some bars.
Police then move in and drag some of the visiting fans away before unleashing their truncheons again.
Another video shows a group of fans across a busy road once again having their limbs targeted by violent officers.
One of the uploaders posted claiming the attacks were random and fans hadn't done anything to justify it.
A travelling tweeted: “Spanish police now firing rubber bullets at crowds of Celtic supporters.
“Despicable beyond description. We urge all fans to stay safe.
“This clip will disgust any right minded person.”
Fans back home reacted with fury upon seeing the footage.
One said: "Pretty shocking stuff. Battons out and in riot gear? What’s the justification?"
Another wrote: "Disgusting behaviour from the polis they are hooligans in uniform stay safe Bhoys hail hail."
