Park Lane murder: Three men charged with killing bouncer outside £12.5m London home
THREE men have been charged with the murder of a doorman who was stabbed to death on New Year’s Day outside a private party in Park Lane in London’s Mayfair.
The men will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today after security guard Tudor Simionov, 33, was attacked outside Fountain House at around 5:30am on January 1. Mr Simionov was found with multiple stab wounds to his chest outside the £12.5million townhouse. Two other men, aged 29 and 37, and a 29-year-old woman were also stabbed in the attack, but did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.
He was my future husband and we came to London from Romania for a better life
Mr Simionov, who lived in Ilford, east London, but was originally from Romania, moved to the UK “for a better life” and hoped to have children.
Mr Simionov's girlfriend, Madalina Anghel, had told the Evening Standard that the pair had been planning on starting a family together this year.
She said: “Right now I can't think about him in the past. He was my future husband and we came to London from Romania for a better life.
"I can't explain in words how much pain I am in. He was a really good man. We were happily and excitedly talking about having children together.”
Ms Anghel planned to take his body back to their native Romania to be buried.
She was also reported to have told friends: "The loss is impossible".
Haroon Akram, 25, Adham Khalil, 20 and Adham Elshalakany, 23 will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday January 30.
All three of the men have been charged with the murder, as well as four counts of grievous bodily harm and one count of violent disorder.
Police continue to appeal for information to help to trace Ossama Hamed, 25 and Nor Aden Hamada, 23 in connection with the investigation.
