Thought to be taken at Bromley by Bow in east London, the footage shows customers waiting outside a fire exit for a Tesco worker to wheel out the discounted items. One woman can be heard telling everyone to “stand back” before shoppers shove each other out the way in a bargain battle. One person can be heard in the background exclaiming: “Goodness me!”
Another says: “That is a joke.”
A third adds: “Look at it.”
One woman nearly falls over after being pushed, but manages to regain her posture and proceed rummaging for items.
Customers surround the trolley and scramble for the discounted food, before throwing items into their baskets as quickly as possible.
