TORY MP Michael Heseltine rebuked criticism from Farage by saying he represents a “national humiliation” of our country, while simultaneously lashing out at Boris Johnson and David Davis.
Michael Heseltine: Farage represents national humiliation of UK
Nigel Farage represents a “national humiliation” that has “got this country into a mess”, according to Michael Heseltine.
The Tory MP did not hold back while rebuking criticism from Farage, and declared to LBC: “Nigel Farage has got this country into such a mess that I frankly don’t find it necessary to give a comment on things that he says.
“He represents a national humiliation of this country.
“The idea that the British Prime Minister is granted 20 minutes to plead for a deal with the European Union.. I mean this county has dominated Europe in politics for hundreds of years, to the huge benefit of the Europeans.
“And here we are, begging to have a deal from the 27 people that run the European countries.”
He continued: “It is a humiliation, and the people responsible for it are Nigel Farage, Boris Johnson and David Davis, who were in charge for two years of the negotiation.
“And what have they come up with? Absolutely nothing except this humiliating situation.”
The furious rebuke follows Farage launching a rampage on Remainer trio Nick Clegg, Tony Blair and Lord Heseltine for their “Brexit derangement syndrome”.

Speaking on LBC, Mr Farage blasted: “I think what they are doing is an absolute disgrace.
“I think it devalues democracy and, in particular, those people who never voted before in their lives that went out in this referendum, which is what made it the greatest exercise in democracy in the history of our country.”
The former Ukip leader then rubbished calls for a second Brexit referendum and added: “I think, to put them back to the ballot box before Brexit has even been enacted, I think, would be very very damaging for democracy and very damaging for our nation.
“It is Brexit derangement syndrome. They simply can’t cope with it. They’ve had it their own way for a very very long time.”
Nigel Farage urges Tories to get rid of Theresa May now
Tony Blair, Michael Heseltine and Nick Clegg have bizarrely chosen a host of European newspapers to demand a second Brexit referendum in Britain.
The Remainer trio claim Brexit negotiations have not gone well and now the public need to make a “final decision”, saying: “Our domestic debate is far from over and, even at this late hour, many of us are continuing to make the case that the British public need to make the final decision once we are in possession of all the relevant facts.
“So we ask our European partners to be ready to give us the space and time, if necessary, to make such a final decision.
“The demand for a ‘People’s Vote’ on the outcome of the negotiations will continue to grow.
“The politics of all this influx and now is not the time to shut down options either for Britain or Europe.”
