Train DERAILS near Birmingham causing commuter CHAOS across Midlands
A DERAILED freight train with overturned wagons has caused travel delays between Nuneaton and Coleshill Parkway in the Birmingham area.
The derailed freight train has caused disruptions on railway services across the Midlands.
The train overturned close to Whitacre Junction in Warwickshire shortly after 3pm today.
Photos show wagons on their side or leaning into the trees on the rail track.
The photos appear to show the containers to belong to Caru Containers.

A British Transport Police spokesman said: “At 3.05pm today, officers from British Transport Police were called to the railway close to Whitacre Junction in the West Midlands following a report of a train derailment.”
National Rail have organised replacement buses between Birmingham International and Nuneaton, via Coleshill Parkway.
British Transport Police (BTP) have said there were no reported injuries following the derailed freight train.
BTP also said: “A number of wagons on a freight train service overturned at low speed and blocked the running of the line.
“Police are on scene alongside colleagues from the West Midlands Fire & Rescue Service, fortunately, there are no reported injuries at this stage."
Cross Country trains urged passengers to check their journey saying: "Due to a derailed freight train between Coelshill Parkway and Nuneaton all lines are blocked.
"Services through these stations may be cancelled, delayed or diverted. Please check for latest updates."
London Northwestern trains have also been affected by the derailed train delays.
The blocked line runs from Birmingham News street to Stansted Airport, via Nuneaton and Leicester.
In August last year, a freight train derailed between Ely and Peterborough leaving the line blocked and causing major disruption for commuters.
Widespread disruption was caused when the rear of 12 wagons of a freight train derailed.
