Sarah Brightman is set to begin space training on Monday
The 54-year-old, who was married to Andrew Lloyd-Webber, will embark on her space training in Russia's Star City in preparation for her flight to the International Space Station in September 2015.
Ironically, singer Sarah had a huge hit with I Lost My Heart To A Starship Trooper in 1978.
Since witnessing the 1969 moon landings on TV as a child, it's been Sarah's life long ambition to travel into space.
Speaking about the trip, she said: "It has been an exciting journey since the announcement of my flight in October 2012 and I am very much looking forward to starting my training here in Star City.
"It will be an incredible six months and I look forward to sharing my experiences with you along the way."

Sarah is set to become the first professional musician to enter space - 'N Sync band member Lance Bass nearly went to space, but was rejected from the program.
The star is preparing for a 10-day stay on the space station on 4 October this year.
Yuri Lonchakov, head of the Russia’s Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre, has said the singer's already passed a number of medical tests.

Although she's ready, and excited, about her trip now the star revealed last year she nearly said no to the offer.
She told Seven magazine: "When I first was asked to do it, I thought 'I don't think so'. It's a really important step to take. But the second time I felt ready.
"I'm feeling anticipation about the flight, but no apprehension, just how I feel before I go on stage."
She added: "The doctor, who's worked with a lot of the astronauts who've been up for years, was saying... 'I don't believe this. Even on the brain scans you're coming out perfect.'"
