Twiggy’s still fab at 63
ONE of the world’s first supermodels, Twiggy, still has an amazingly youthful glow at the age of 63.
But the Sixties star who has spent 47 years in front of the camera, says she has resisted having any cosmetic surgery because she doesn’t want to look like a “munchkin”.
Without completely dismissing the idea of injections or going under the knife in the future, she said: “I haven’t, but that’s not to say I won’t.
“The thing I’m against is the things they pump into your face and lips. People who have had it done can look like munchkins. It’s peculiar. I’m very anti-Botox as I feel it’s dangerous.”
In an interview with Good Housekeeping the mother of one, who became a world famous model in her teens, also speaks about how she stays in shape.
And that doesn’t include diets. “They don’t work because you deprive yourself of the things you love,” she explained.
Another of her tips for looking youthful is a good haircut. “These days, a fringe is very softening for wrinkles. A decent hairstyle and colour can make you feel and look better,” she said.
