Late Queen 'saw straight through' Meghan Markle as source gives damning 2-word verdict
A source has brought more claims about the relationship between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the late Queen Elizabeth.

Queen Elizabeth II allegedly gave a daming, two-word verdict on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle right before her death in 2022, a source has claimed. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been at odds with the Royal Family since their sensational departure in 2020, which was followed by various bombshell claims against them.
However, throughout their attacks, the Sussex couple always maintained their stance that they kept a warm bond with the late monarch, despite the bitter row with the rest of the royals. But now a royal author has cited sources which gave a different take on the late Queen's stance on Harry and Meghan.
Journalist and royal historian Sally Bedell Smith had been dominating headlines recently after she published her conversations with Elizabeth's late cousin and close confidante, Lady Elizabeth Anson.

The late Queen allegedly "saw through" Meghan Markle, and claimed her romance with Harry had become a "complete catastrophe", just weeks before her death in September 2022.
It has now emerged that, according to Ms Bedell Smith, the late monarch "saw right through" Meghan and allegedly told a group of guests at Balmoral that the Sussex couple had been a "complete catastrophe", just weeks before her death in September 2022.
A source said, according to the Mail: "It was out of character for the Queen...but she saw straight through Meghan. At the drinks before the dinner, a small group were talking to the monarch and she explained that Harry meeting Meghan had become a 'complete catastrophe'.
"By this point, we all knew the Queen's health was in decline and she had months left; she seemed regretful about how things had panned out."

Sally Bedell Smith published various conversations with Lady Elizabeth on her Substack 'Royal Extras'.
Born in Windsor Castle, Lady Elizabeth was the late Queen Mother's great-niece and also King George VI's goddaughter. Liza, as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was known for being a high-society party planner and was one of Elizabeth's closest confidantes later in life.
The aristocrat died nearly five years ago, just two years before Elizabeth's death in 2022, but now a royal author has shared various glimpses into what the late monarch had confided in her regarding life within the Royal Family, including her views on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
She said that all was going really well for the late monarch until the Duke of Sussex met Meghan Markle.
She said that Meghan appeared to be "full of charm" and "natural, intelligent, and thoughtful" following her engagement to Prince Harry in 2017. But her "bossy" behaviour closer to the 2018 wedding made the late Queen "very worried."
The aristocrat, who affectionately called the late monarch Jemima and her Number One Lady, claimed that Meghan wouldn't initially tell details of her wedding dress to the late Queen and that the late monarch was "so saddened".
She also revealed at that time that Meghan could "turn into nothing but trouble" as "she sees things in a different way".
Harry and Meghan have not commented on the latest claims.
