Netflix boss Ted Sarandos has given his two-word verdict on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during a rare interview with Variety. Shortly after stepping down from royal duties and moving to the US, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made the decision to sign a lucrative deal with Netflix.

The couple have since released a few projects, with some being the main focus of either Meghan or Harry. Their joint docuseries, Harry & Meghan, was released in December 2022. Just weeks before the release of With Love, Meghan, Harry released his most recent project in the form of Polo, which saw players of the sport in preparation for the US open.

Speaking the publication, Ted described the couple as "overly dismissed" as he shared his thoughts on Meghan’s new show - which aired on the streaming service earlier this month. Asked if Meghan was the "right person to bet on", he said: "I think Meghan is underestimated in terms of her influence on culture. When we dropped the trailer for the “Harry & Meghan” doc series [in 2022], everything on-screen was dissected in the press for days. The shoes she was wearing sold out all over the world. The Hermès blanket that was on the chair behind her sold out everywhere in the world." He concluded, "People are fascinated with Meghan Markle. She and Harry are overly dismissed."

Why Meghan Markle uses 'crown' logo 5 years after royal exit revealed by expert

The reason behind Meghan Markle's decision to use a "crown" logo has been analysed by an expert in the field of graphology. After expressing her opinion that Meghan did not appear authentic in her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, influencer Amanda Hirsch received a personalised hand-written message from the Duchess of Sussex.

After being made aware of Amanda's post, in which she expressed she was "scared" for the former senior royal, Meghan decided to send her a note, which read: Dear Amanda, I heard you were feeling scared. Don't be. This is the fun part - let's enjoy it". She then signed off with the phrase "as ever, Meghan."

Prince Louis could get Prince Andrew's royal title one day thanks to key rule

The royal children of the Prince William and Princess Kate will all see a number of changes to their positions as they grow up - least of all in their titles, including Prince Louis. If and when the youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales marries, he could inherit a historic Dukedom, and could one day be bestowed with the title the Duke of York by the crown. The current holder of the title is his grand-uncle, Prince Andrew, so it would be unavailable to Louis if Andrew was still alive when he chooses to marry. Traditionally, the Duke of York title has been given to the monarch's second-eldest son, so if Prince William is on the throne and it is is available, then it's up for grabs for Prince Louis.

King Charles' secret offer he could make to Trump would make US 'royal' again

King Charles could make a secret offer to US President Donald Trump that would make US 'royal' again. Despite his unfavourable opinion of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the US President is said to have "great respect" for King Charles and the British Royal Family. According to the Daily Mail's Diary Editor Richard Eden's latest column, plans are being made for the US to become the next "associate member" of the Commonwealth.

The Commonwealth has a total population of more than 2.7 billion. Although the US declared independence from Britain in 1776, this would be no impediment to the country as a whole becoming the 57th member of the Commonwealth
