Meghan Markle said she is devastated after she made a heartbreaking announcement on Instagram on Tuesday night.

The Duchess of Sussex took to her newly launched Instagram page to post a new video in a sweet tribute to her rescue beagle called Guy, who has now passed away.

The video features various clips and pictures of the sweet beagle thought to be taken by the duchess herself.

Meghan said Guy, who she adopted in 2015, had been present through her biggest moments.

Meghan Markle may be bracing for the release of her new cooking show on Netflix, but it's not the first time she's spoken about cooking tips and tricks.

The Duchess of Sussex's new lifestyle series, 'With Love, Meghan', will hit the screens on January 15 and in it, Prince Harry's wife will share cooking, gardening and hosting tips.

But Meghan has been previously quite open about her love of food - way before she started dating Prince Harry - and now a clip of one of her old appearances has resurfaced ahead of her Netflix show's release.

In 2016, the year she started dating the prince and when she still ran her lifestyle blog, The Tig, Meghan, who was still working as an actress, appeared on NBC's Today Show.

Meghan Markle's new Netflix show has already managed to outperform Prince Harry's previous projects with the streaming giant without even airing yet - the latest figures have shown.

The Duchess of Sussex appeared in a new trailer last week for her long-awaited show With Love, Meghan, which is set to hit the screens on January 15.

The trailer dropped last Thursday - just a day after Meghan's return to Instagram for the first time since her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018.

And it looks like, in just five days, she managed to outperform Prince Harry's figures from two of his shows - one of which dropped last month and the second one last year.

Princess Charlotte has been dubbed the Princess of Wales's "rock" during her cancer journey, according to a royal source.

Princess Kate's second child has become increasingly popular among the rest of the royals.

According to Fox News, which cited its own sources, the nine-year-old has been a "rock" to her mother "during the very difficult periods and dark moments of illness".

They also revealed the future Queen is "very much aware" that if her daughter had not been born into the Firm, she'd very much enjoy a life "inside the dance arena".

If King Charles is ever out of action, on a temporary basis, and can't undertake official duties, two or more 'Counsellors of State' can act in his place.

Counsellors of State are authorised to carry out most of the official duties of the sovereign, for example, attending privy council meetings, signing routine documents and receiving the credentials of new ambassadors to the United Kingdom.

However, there are core constitutional functions that can't be delegated, including Commonwealth matters, the dissolving of Parliament except on His Majesty's express instruction, the creation of peers, and appointing a Prime Minister.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are reportedly hoping to announce their first much-coveted royal warrants this year, in what would be the first time they use this power since taking up their new roles.

Prince William and Princess Kate were granted the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales on September 9, 2022, just one day after Queen Elizabeth's death and King Charles's ascension to the throne.

According to the MailOnline, the royal couple plan on granting their first awards of personal patronage this year. However, there is no date confirmed for when this will take place.

Prince Harry is set to fly across the pond from California to the UK next month to attend a court hearing.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, will appear at some trial hearings against The Sun’s publisher News Group Newspapers (NGN) in February, along with former Labour deputy leader Lord Tom Watson, with the pair both suing the publisher over alleged unlawful information-gathering and invasion of privacy.

The publisher has denied the claims put against them.

While Harry will fly across the pond for some of the court case, he is not set to be joined by his wife Meghan Markle, 43, who instead will remain in California.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are reportedly preparing their three young children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, for a colossal change.

The royal couple are said to be making the most of their family time before Prince William becomes King, and wanting to make the transition as smooth as possible for the sake of their children.

Royal author, Ingrid Seward, said: "Kate knows there is a looming, massive responsibility coming, but she can't do anything about that, so she just needs to make sure that the family she's bringing up are able to deal with it."

Prince Harry is set to make another solo visit without Meghan Markle to the UK for his ongoing trial against the publishers of The Sun next month, it has been confirmed.

The trial, which will take place at the High Court, will see Harry appear before the court, as well former Labour deputy leader, Lord Tom Watson.

In their court case against News Group Newspapers (NGN), Harry and Lord Watson are suing the publisher over alleged unlawful information-gathering and invasion of privacy.

With the trail set to last seven weeks, Harry will be cross-examined by the newspaper group's barrister.
