Harry and Meghan: This Morning panel on possible future books

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle entered "flight mode" after accusations were made in a US magazine that the duchess had mistreated staff after a number of them resigned.

A royal expert has said that the couple's reaction to The Hollywood Reporter article, which accused Meghan of being "Duchess Difficult" and terrifying staff, was like "uncontained fury". It comes amid allegations that Meghan reportedly "marches around like a dictator in high heels, fuming and barking orders".

In response to the claims in the Hollywood Reporter, Archwell insiders jumped to the Sussexes' defence and said they were "total nonsense". An Archewell source told GB News: "The duke and duchess work from Montecito, and we're based in Hollywood. They likely think we're all in the same office and that this quote would fly, but the circumstances don't even allow for it."

Royal commentator Emily Andrews has now told Woman magazine that the response to the allegations was "interesting". She wrote: "It was a short piece that didn't even make the front cover. But the Sussexes' reaction was even more interesting than the original story. Uncontained fury would be my reading.

"And by helping with a huge cover story for one of America's most-read weekly magazines, her staff were, in fact, drawing attention to the original piece in The Hollywood Reporter and the unpalatable accusations within it. Harry and Meghan may have been better served by just ignoring it and rising above. But instead, Archewell went into fight mode almost immediately to defend Meghan."

Royal Family 'consider one utensil beneath them' with none held in Buckingham Palace

The Royal Family reportedly consider one "downmarket" table utensil beneath them and none can be found in Buckingham Palace.

Lady Anne Glenconner, the ex-lady-in-waiting for Princess Margaret, has revealed that Queen Camilla was once asked which knife she'd like to use after being presented with the option of a fish knife.

In a reference to the poem 'How to Get On in Society', the three people in attendance, including the Queen, replied by saying "phone for the fish knives, Norman", reports The Times.

Meghan looked incredible in a smart casual ensemble, which consisted of a blue shirt with white details by J.Crew x Marie Marot (sold out online), a pair of white, seemingly linen, wide-leg trousers, a brown leather Ralph Lauren belt (£89) and a pair of brown suede heels by Manolo Blahnik (£595).

The majority of royal fans liked the look and appreciated the trousers did not touch the floor.

Meghan Markle dubbed a 'diva' who didn't like 'having wings clipped' during time in Firm

Meghan Markle was described by a royal expert as a "bit of a diva" who didn't like being restricted by having her "wings clipped" during her time as a working royal.

The Duchess of Sussex stepped down as a senior working royal in 2020 after two years in the job since marrying Prince Harry in 2018. They eventually moved to the US where they settled in Montecito, creating a new life for themselves and their family.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond claimed one of the reasons the duchess left the Firm was because she didn't like what she saw.

The future Queen admitted her dislike for motorbikes back in 2015 after she told a fan about whether William was still riding his motorbike: "He's still riding it. It always fills me with horror when he goes out on it.

Prince Harry reflects on 'how much he has lost'

A royal expert has said that Prince Harry could be thinking about how much he has lost after recent solo engagements.

Writing for his column in the Daily Mail, editor and broadcaster Richard Eden spoke to a source he described as an old friend of Harry's about the couple's solo outings.

The source said: "Imagine the difference if they were still working royals. They would be the centre of attention wherever they went. They would be patrons of organisations and charities, not just guests turning up.

"I think Harry's work over recent weeks with WellChild and Sentebale [the charity he helped set up in 2006 for African orphans, including those living with HIV/AIDS] will have brought home to him how much he has lost by moving to the States."

Meghan planning big comeback

A source has claimed that Meghan Markle is planning a big comeback as she aims to take on Hollywood yet again and "doesn’t care what people think".

They told OK! magazine: "Before she met Harry she would always wear eye-catching outfits like that on the red carpet and would love the attention they would bring.

"She has admitted herself that once she became a royal she really had to tone down her wardrobe and make more conservative choices as well as claiming she wasn’t allowed to wear a lot of colour."

They added: "Since leaving, she has slowly been getting more daring with her choices and this appearance proved that she is finally free of her royal era and doesn’t want to be associated with that part of her life anymore.

"Both she and Harry are pursuing their own career goals and Meghan has decided that when she’s doing solo events, she's going to be the star of the show.

"She has lots of exciting projects coming up, including the launch of her new Netflix cooking show, and this is just the start of her fun and sexy new look.

"She doesn’t care what people think, she spent so long worrying about whether she was wearing the right outfit and if it was appropriate and now she just wants to be herself.

"Meghan has no plans to even go back to being a royal and this dress shows that she’s distancing herself from them and everything she used to be."

William and Kate might never forgive Prince Harry, expert says

A royal expert believes Prince William and Princess Kate may never forgive Prince Harry.

Speaking on The Sun's Royal Exclusive show, Charles Rae said: "Well, I think it is down to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to make the first move.

" Whether or not it would be accepted by William and Catherine, I doubt very much it would be. There's too much water which has gone under that bridge.

“After everything Harry and Meghan have done with the Oprah Winfrey interview, that Netflix show... Spare. The flamboyant curtsey by Meghan on the show as well.

“There's too much gone under the bridge now. If they're going to make the move, I am not so sure William and Catherine would respond favourably."

Meghan Markle blamed as reason why Prince Harry quit UK

A royal photographer believes Meghan Markle is the reason why Harry left the UK.

Arthur Edwards, photographer for The Sun, said: "Meghan said ‘we are going’ and that was it. And as we say, he made that decision and disappeared. That was his choice."

He went on to say at The Sun's exclusive royal show: “He was fun and he was surprising. And he used to say ‘I'll do everything I can to make it good for you’, and that's what shocked me when he just cut us all dead, that one time up in Manchester.

"I'll never forget and I was shocked and it was just the day he met Meghan or the day he fell in love with Meghan, and it's all changed since then."
