Princess Kate has a new lookalike who is causing a royal fan frenzy - the fiancee of Hugh Grosvenor, the 7th Duke of Westminster.

Grosvenor is close friends with both Prince William and Prince Harry and godfather to Prince George and Prince Archie. William will be in attendance, but not Harry and Meghan.

William and Harry attended Hugh’s sister’s wedding back in 2004, when Hugh was just 13 years old, but now he’s grown up, and it’s his turn to walk down the aisle and wait for his bride-to-be, Olive Henson, at the altar.

Royally Obsessed co-hosts, Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fiorito, recently discussed the wedding and how fans are comparing Olivia to Princess Kate.

Ms Bowie said of the couple: “The bride met Hugh in 2021, though mutual friends, a lot of Kate Middleton comparisons are being drawn to her.”

Olivia and Kate are similar in stature and have long brown hair, but Ms Bowie believes it’s more about “demeanour,” that two have a very relaxed way about them.

Ms Bowie said: “I think it’s her demeanour, if you click some of those pictures, the resemblance is quite uncanny.”

Ms Fiorito agreed that there she’s some similarities between the two women, but also pointed out that Hugh and Olivia received some “flack” for how casual their engagement photo was, saying it was “unfair” for them to be judged for something others like about them.

She said: “I feel like it really speaks to them as a couple, it sounds like people really like how down-to-earth they are, the feedback was that she needs to brush her hair.”

When hearing this, Ms Bowie exclaimed, “That’s so mean!”

The wedding will take place on Friday, June 7, in Chester at Chester Cathedral, followed by a reception at Eton Hall.

Ms Bowie was looking forward to seeing William and Harry reunite at the wedding, saying: “This was originally thought to be the occasion that would finally reunite the brothers, but a decision — and no one really knows what went down — was ultimately made, that Harry and Meghan will not attend.

“It sounds like it was due to avoiding any potential circumstance, that they would be overshadowed — the bride and groom, Hugh and Olivia — with the royal tension.”
