The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's recent trip to Nigeria may not have gone down that well for people at Buckingham Palace, royal expert reveals.
Prince Harry kisses Meghan Markle in Nigeria
A royal commentator has revealed Buckingham Palace's real reaction to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Nigeria tour.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Nigeria for three days earlier this month to champion mental health initiatives for soldiers and empower young people as they celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
Whilst their trip was generally described as a success by many royal watchers, the Palace does not seem to have viewed it quite as favourably.
ITV News' royal editor, Chris Ship, claimed the Nigeria trip has raised a few eyebrows in the Palace with the subject being something that the royals are not very keen to talk about.
He told this week’s edition of True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat: "You get a few raised eyebrows when you talk about Nigeria with certain people in the Palace.

"It’s certainly what happened to me when I was there yesterday (23/5).
"People go, ‘Yes, Nigeria, not sure we can visit that soon after Harry and Meghan have been there’.
"But yes, politics gets a bit difficult when it comes to family troubles."
Meanwhile, the couple hinted their Nigeria trip was not an isolated event, suggesting more such tours are being planned.

Harry told PEOPLE: "It is hugely important for us to meet directly with people, supporting our causes and listening, in order to bring about solutions, support and positive change."
Elsewhere, another royal commentator claimed Harry and Meghan's pictures in Nigeria could be looked at with envy by Harry's relatives across the pond.
Royal editor at The Times, Kate Mansey, told Times Radio: "I suspect when the palace, the King, and other members of the Royal Family look at those images of Harry and Meghan abroad [In Nigeria] they just think 'they're going down quite well' and 'how does that make us feel'".
