'Am I confident? Yes I am' Farage declares Ukip will storm into Scottish Parliament
NIGEL Farage yesterday declared Ukip will storm into the Scottish Parliament after a poll suggested his party could gain up to seven seats.

It said the anti-EU party is on six per cent in the battle for second "top up" votes for May's elections.
The Ukip leader said he was confident of pulling off another surprise like that which saw David Coburn become its first MEP in Scotland in 2014.
The party leader previously had to hide in a pub from protesters in Scotland

Then it picked up 10.4 per cent of the vote, giving Ukip the sixth and final seat available north of the border.

Mr Farage also pledged he would play a frontline role in the campaign despite ugly scenes on a previous visit.
In May 2013, he was forced to take shelter in an Edinburgh pub as protesters surrounded him.
With the SNP on course to win almost every seat opposition parties will have to rely almost entirely on gaining regional list votes, which uses a form of proportional representation.
Polls suggest the party could gain seven seats
Scottish Tory leader Ruth Davidson is hoping her party can become Holyrood's official opposition as she narrows the gap with Labour.
But Mr Farage said his campaign was being bolstered by the forthcoming EU poll.

He also claimed it put paid to the "myth" Scots want to stay "in".
Mr Farage said he would not "stick his neck out" with a prediction on gains.
But he added: "Am I confident Ukip will establish a presence in the Scottish Parliament? Yes I am."
