United Nations sacks four bureaucrats for storing CHILD PORN on their computers
THE United Nations has sacked four staff members for sending and storing child pornography on official computers.
The UN did not identify the employees who were dismissed
Another official was dismissed for using a UN vehicle to transport 173 kilograms of marijuana, according to a newly released report.
The document details misbehaviour and crime among staff over the year to June 2015 and includes 60 cases that resulted in disciplinary action.
It does not identify any of those dismissed or where they worked.
The report states that eight cases involving "credible allegations of criminal conduct by United Nations officials or experts on mission were referred to member states".

It provided no further information and didn't say whether any of the unidentified countries sought to prosecute the individuals.
The disciplinary cases range from a senior staff member's demotion for harassing a subordinate to dismissal of an official caught trying to steal money from the wallet of a colleague.

Another worker had their contract terminated after stealing $2,000 from the luggage of a passenger travelling on a UN flight.
The report gave no details on the four staff members sending child pornography.
It said a fifth worker was demoted for storing pornographic material on a computer and failing to report that another UN employee had sent it though the organisation's email system.
