Nigel Farage says David Cameron is a 'weed' for dodging tonight's debate
The Ukip leader was in fighting spirits ahead of the debate on BBC1 after receiving a £1.3million donation from Express Newspapers owner Richard Desmond.
Mr Farage said he would explain to the country why Ukip is the party for millions of hard-working men and women.
And the leader, who is standing in South Thanet in Kent, ridiculed David Cameron for his no-show.

He said: "David Cameron not turning up tonight is pretty weedy to be honest.
"I wondered why David Cameron had bothered to turn up at the last leader's debate.
"He didn't say anything, he played it safe.
"What was interesting with the first debate with Jeremy Paxman was Ed Miliband emerged stronger because he fought back. David Cameron looked like a rabbit in headlights.
"In 2010 David Cameron pushed for leader debates. He thought it would be a big win but it was a disaster for him.
"He's playing shy tonight."

Mr Farage also claimed he would take on Ed Miliband, particularly on his assertion that Labour are the 'party of working people'.
He said: "I want to challenge Ed.
"Labour wants to be the party of the working men and women. I think Labour is the party of the political business leaders.
"Nicola Sturgeon is very good at spending England's money. It sounds wonderful having free this and that. But what Ukip did yesterday was to become the first party to produce a manifesto fully costed and verified.
"For us, tonight presents a big opportunity to show we are on the side of the working man and woman and the five million small business owners in Britain who are not being given a break. I will be pleased if I can get that across."
Mr Farage also spoke of his pride in Ukip's manifesto, which was unveiled in the hotly contested seat of Thurrock, Essex yesterday.
