Starmer’s GB Energy logo brutally mocked as some say it ‘looks like it’s farting’
Sir Keir has been subject to sweeping criticism for his "stock image" energy firm logo.
Britons have mercilessly mocked the logo of Sir Keir Starmer's proposed state-owned energy firm, with some people saying the icon "looks like its farting".
Labour plans to use its proposed GB Energy firm to cut Britons' bills and provide a highway to net zero while bringing new jobs to Scotland, where it would be headquartered.
The concept is one of Sir Keir's flagships, and the would-be Prime Minister has said it would "remove Putin’s boot from our throat" and cut household bills "for good".
While it will likely sound enticing to many Britons, the proposal has failed to land with some, who have poked fun at the icon's unusual design.
Some have even tweaked that the logo comes from a cheap stock graphic anyone could buy for the price of two bananas.
Multiple people took the Labour logo to task on X, formerly Twitter, with one user saying it "looks like a lightbulb farting".
Another user agreed, saying the image "looks like someone bending over and farting".
Others had even harsher words, with one saying the icon was "so s**t", with a third agreeing it looks "s**t and unoriginal".
Some people noted that the icon is a stock image available to buy online for as little as 57 pence and is already in use by a small US advertising firm.

Sunday Times Whitehall editor Gabriel Pogrund said the photo "appears to be the existing logo for a small advertising firm in Schenectady, New York state".
He added that the "only obvious difference" between Labour's and the firm's was that "it's inverted".
The logo's unpolished look was not lost on the Conservative Party, with key Tories joining the chorus of people knocking the design.
Home Secretary James Cleverly said Labour "copied the logo off of the internet" and quipped: "No plan, no energy, no logo!"
Great British Energy has also earned criticism as a concept, with the SNP warning it would place thousands of Scottish jobs at risk.
The party said the danger comes from Labour refusing to issue new oil and gas licences if it wins on July 4.
