Laurence Fox issues message as he ponders another run at becoming London Mayor
The anti-woke warrior said he refuses to "stand by and watch the city I live in and love be destroyed before our eyes".
Anti-woke warrior Laurence Fox is pondering another run at becoming London Mayor, saying he refuses to watch the UK capital be “destroyed”.
The actor-turned-right-wing-politician aired his views today on social media site X, formerly known as Twitter.
One of his most recent gripes with the current Labour London Mayor, Sadiq Khan, and the Metropolitan Police is the force’s priorities.
He said: “I am giving very serious thought to running for @MayorofLondon again.

I’m not going to stand by and watch the city I live in and love be destroyed before our eyes.
It is always my wish to collaborate with the other small parties, but they have refused.

On December 21 he called Mr Khan “scum”.
He said: “Found out today that the @metpoliceuk are keeping my kids iPads for Christmas, whilst they continue to “investigate” me.
“In a city where knife murder is rampant, taking iPads off two boys who have done nothing wrong is really going to help.
“The @MayorofLondon @SadiqKhan is scum.”

He launched his own political party Reclaim the same year and during the Covid pandemic he expressed scepticism over the vaccine and lockdowns.
His tweet pondering another run at London mayor has been liked 11,000 times and has garnered almost 2,000 comments.
One said: “Do it Lozza, you’d be amazing. Just what London needs.”
