Theresa May voice: What is wrong with Theresa May’s voice, what’s wrong with her?
THERESA May struggled to speak in the Commons this week, sparking fears she lost her voice just before a series of Brexit votes. But what was wrong with Theresa May's voice?
Brexit: Theresa May addresses Parliament ahead of vote
Theresa May spent weeks negotiating a new Brexit deal after she faced a hige 230-vote defeat on her first deal in January. But her second deal suffered the same fate as MPs voted it down in the Commons on Tuesday, even though the UK is scheduled to leave the EU in 16 days. Attorney General Geoffrey Cox delivered a fresh blow to the Prime Miniser's deal after he told MPs that the changes in the deal "reduce the risk" that the UK could be trapped indefinitely in the backstop, but do not remove them altogether.

What is wrong with Theresa May’s voice?
Mrs May travelled to Strasbourg for late night talks over her deal with the EU on Monday night.
But the late night may have given her a sore throat, as many Labour MPs joked she could not make her speech in Commons as they noticed her voice was croaky.
She could only get out the first two words of her speech, saying "Mr Speaker" before coughing and clearing her throat.
Mrs May also seemed to be passed a cough sweet to help her speak.
She jokingly said at one point: "Okay, you may say that, but you should hear Jean-Claude Juncker's voice as a result of our conversation."
Mrs May has not revealed the true reason her voice was croaky in the Commons today.
But her voice has lead to a barrage of abuse online, with people attacking the prime minister over her Brexit deal.
One Twitter user said: “The PM @theresa_may is losing her voice in @HouseofCommons #BrexitStatement.
“She needs some #WithdrawalAgreement .. Sorry, I mean lozenges #cough “
Another posted: “Only @theresa_may could start by addressing the commons with a hacking cough. Sound of things to come? #Brexit”
Some have tweeted in support of the PM, suggesting someone offer her a cough sweet.
Twitter user @Ljubica1 said: “Having spent the last 3 weeks suffering from dreadful flu/fever/cough/sore throat I actually have empathy with #TheresaMay today.”
Rebekah Harrison said: “Please can we just have five minutes for Theresa May to have a good cough and a glass of water.”
One Twitter user said: “Someone give @theresa_may a cough sweet.”
Another said: “If there is a general election, @theresa_may will need a lot more cough sweets. Her hoarse throat won’t help her on the campaign trail…”
